Meet the Makers

We’re Amy & Steven, the makers behind As A Crow Flies Jewelry, based in southeastern Oklahoma.  Our business name reflects a connection of where I come from and a shared love for making.  We have an appreciation for jewelry that is as individual as the person wearing it.

Our journey into silversmithing began in December 2024, when we took a class together for our 21st anniversary. What started as a new experience for us both became something we truly enjoyed, and in September 2025, As A Crow Flies Jewelry came to life.

For me, the love of handmade jewelry goes back to my childhood. My late grandmother introduced me to beadwork, sharing a part of our Choctaw traditions that continues to hold a special place in my heart. Her creativity, along with the strength and work ethic of my late mother, has shaped who I am and continues to influence my work today.

Although we share the same craft, Steven and I each have our own style. Steven enjoys incorporating vintage coins into his jewelry, giving his pieces a rugged, timeless character. I'm drawn to turquoise, gemstones, and clean, contemporary designs. Our different approaches allow us to create a collection with variety while staying true to the craftsmanship we both appreciate.

We work with sterling silver, coins, beads, and carefully selected turquoise and gemstones, allowing the character of each stone to influence the finished design. Every piece is created by hand, with attention to the details that make handmade jewelry unique.

Our three daughters, Allison, Kayden and Sadie are part of our story as well, occasionally modeling our jewelry and sharing in what we're building together.

We believe jewelry should be more than something beautiful to wear. It should reflect individuality, be made with intention, and be something you enjoy for years to come.
